Sugar Shack

Maple Syrup Indulgence

A sure sign of spring: The maple tree taps start flowing! Experience the sweetest transition from winter to spring with a visit to a sugar shack where you can indulge in all foods covered in maple syrup and learn how maple syrup is made!

The Eastern Townships is full of sugar shacks, which you can start exploring this spring break with this list compiled by Tourisme Cantons de le'Est 7 Exceptional Sugar Shacks.

Our personal favorite is Au Bec Sucre because it is rustically charming, family run sugqr shack with a traditional meal followed by making maple taffy, sledding, and a small petting zoo.
